25 weeks!!!

We're in full on baby belly mode now. Baby T is doing awesome, Lynn's doing great, and our appointments have been all good. Its been great to do the audio ultrasounds and hear his heartbeat each time. Its especially amazing when she picks up both Baby T and Lynn's heartbeat simultaneously! Pretty mind blowing.

Here they are...

24 weeks!!

Twenty weeks...Lynn's bump has definitely had a growth spurt! Here's the latest....

19 weeks!

We had our big ultrasound last week, they clocked the baby at 18 weeks 5 days....just about halfway! Everything looks great, all the fingers and toes, arms legs are in place and looking good. We heard the heartbeat again, its such an incredible thing to hear every time. We would have sat and watched the ultrasound screen all day long if the ultrasound tech would have let us!

And the biggest news of all....it's a boy!

Here's the latest belly shot and a cool one we did with the ultrasound images. Enjoy!

17 weeks!

We can't believe we're at 17 weeks! Lynn's feeling really good these days, she's been fortunate to have the "2nd trimester feel good times" or whatever they call it...Here's the latest belly shot. We also included a good close up of "the bump". We're still early enough that people are still saying "Geez your're barely even showing!" Which is true, but there is definite growth! (see the 8 to 17 week comparison shots below)

We had another baby appointment last week, everything looks and sounds good. We heard the baby's heartbeat again, just sooo amazing to hear again. The doc was moving the ultrasound back and forth between Lynn's heartbeat and the baby's and back again. That was so frickin cool to hear them both beating along, brings us so much closer to what's going on in there, and connects us to the baby sooo much. We love it!

Belly Shot - 13 weeks

Lynn is really filling out now. Luckily her nice and tiny figure allows me to say that without getting backhanded. :) ~dave

Baby T on film!

WOWWWWWWW!!!! We had our first ultrasound yesterday! Baby T measured in at 1.88cm (3/4 inch), and has a fantastic fast little heartbeat! On the image, you can see the head, a little arm, and legs curled up. It was really a surreal thing to see Baby T for the first time, truly truly amazing! Just seeing it live on the screen was incredible, and to actually see a little tiny heart beating away in there is absolutely mind-blowing.

Here are the ultrasound pictures!

This is Baby T laying on his/her back. The heart is right in the middle, and showed up like a little blurry pulsating area at the end of the arm. Unbelieveable!

This one shows the measurement they took onscreen. "CRL 1.88cm 8w3d" means CrownRumpLength 1.88cm, 8 weeks 3 days!

Here's the picture flipped 90degrees to show the body parts. Does he/she look more like Lynn or Dave?

The First Belly Shot!

Here's Lynn's first belly shot. As you can see, not much of a bump yet, but that's because the baby is only 1/2 - 3/4 inch long! We're gonna post another shot when we see a noticeable difference. I bet it won't be long...So far Lynn is still feeling good. Some mild queasiness sneaks up on her when she's hungry or tired (or both). She keeps a box of crackers or granola by the bed for snackin in the middle of the night. Otherwise, the tired spells still hit her hard, then there's nothin to do but nap! Lynn looooves that part. I try to support her the best I can by taking a nap too. :)

Week 8

We're between the 7th & 8th week now, and we're soooo excited to have our first doctor appointment and ultrasound next Monday. We've been reading the Pregnancy Journal that tells you what's going on day by day. Pretty amazing what has already happened and what the baby's body has already developed. Here's a pic of what the baby looks like during this week.
